CRES Forum Senior Policy Fellow

Tim Doyle is a Senior Policy Fellow at CRES Forum. He brings more than two decades of public policy and legal experience in multiple issue areas including energy, environment, sustainability, corporate governance, and the federal regulatory process.

Tim is the Founder and Principal at Doyle Strategies, LLC. and in that capacity, he recently served as a senior policy advisor to the Bipartisan Policy Center where he spearheaded the corporate governance and ESG program starting in 2019. Previously, Tim was General Counsel and Principal at GuidePost Strategies. Prior to his work with GuidePost, he was Vice President of Policy and General Counsel at the American Council for Capital Formation where he provided executive level advise and legal counsel as well as management of research and policy initiatives.

Tim has previously served as Senior Counsel in the United States House of Representatives for the Chairman of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, Lamar Smith (R-TX) and Staff Director for the Chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee, Barry Loudermilk (R-GA). He also has served as Senior Counsel for the Chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources, Doc Hastings (R-WA).

Tim started his career as a prosecuting attorney in Michigan, where he successfully balanced a heavy trial caseload while achieving a 90% conviction rate in trial.

Tim holds a J.D. from Michigan State University as well as a B.A. with a dual major in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy and Criminal Justice. He is a member of the bar of the District of Columbia and Michigan.
