Tamara Kalandiya—the Chief Financial Officer at the Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES)—oversees all the company’s financial functions. Her career spans 22 years of varied experience in financial management, non-profit leadership, and educational programming.
Before joining CRES in 2023, Tamara was a CFO and COO for the Middle East Institute, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank dedicated to Middle Eastern studies.
Earlier in her career, Tamara held senior-level positions at the International Medical Corps, a global humanitarian aid organization.
Tamara is the founder and head of the Academy of Georgian Heritage, a U.S.-based educational organization designed to offer supplemental classes for Georgian-American youth in the DMV area.
Tamara is a CPA and resides in Maryland with her husband and three school-aged children.
