This is thanks to the Trump Administration’s efforts to ensure access to critical loans that expand the U.S. nuclear energy buildout. The plant is expected to provide more than 800 megawatts of reliable electricity once online. The project will also extend operations for decades to come. The effort at Palisades demonstrates that restarting nuclear facilities can be part of America’s energy solution as electricity demand continues to climb.
